Stop TB and leprosy elimination
The Stop TB Programme assists Viet Nam’s Ministry of Health in the implementation of the five-year national TB plan including the programmatic management of multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) and the upgrading of laboratory services. By promoting the global strategy to Stop TB, WHO Viet Nam provides support to the development of the first National Tuberculosis Prevalence Survey and the implementation of the national strategy for HIV/TB collaborative activities. WHO Viet Nam is also chair of the TB sub-Country Coordination Mechanism group.
