Vaccine regulation
Vaccination is documented as the most effective primary intervention to reduce the burden of disease and enhance health. Assured quality vaccines are essential to effective immunization programmes. Given the current emphasis including introduction of new vaccines, independent, competent, and effective regulatory systems are necessary to oversee the supply of assured quality vaccines.
This website intends to serve as a resource platform to assist Member States of the Western Pacific Region in establishing and strengthening their National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs).
