Side Event on Universal Health Coverage during the 63rd Session of the WHO Regional Committee for the Western Pacific in Viet Nam

A side event organized by the Government of Viet Nam brought together representatives of the host country and those from many Member States, including China, Japan and the Republic of Korea to share their experiences of progressing towards universal health coverage. In closing Dr Shin Young-soo WHO Regional Director for the Western Pacific, provided a summary of key issues in developing national health financing systems and challenges ahead.
