- WHO provided technical support and funding for the training on respiratory infection control in all regions of the country.
- DOH drafted an administrative order that creates an Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Program at the national level.
- DOH developed the manual of standards on infection control in health care facilities, in order to strengthen infection control practice at all levels of health care delivery.
