SPEED conceptualized and established
Surveillance in Post Extreme Emergencies and Disasters or SPEED was conceptualized to provide real time health information reporting after a disaster.
A collaboration between the Philippine Department of Health and WHO, the concept became a reality with the support of funding partners like Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Government of Finland, and European Union.
