The meeting on Strengthening Health Systems to Improve Chronic Disease Prevention and Control was held in Singapore from 5 to 7 November 2007, to assist countries respond to the challenge of strengthening health systems across the continuum of care. Participants were from seven selected low- and middle- income countries and three high income countries.
