The number of people affected by noncommunicable diseases or NCDs have dramatically increased in relation to diet, physical inactivity, alcohol and tobacco misuse which in turn is result of changing social and cultural characteristics of our civilization and lifestyles. This imposes a double burden on economic development and health of the people worldwide including Mongolia thus becoming one of the priority public health problems which needs full attention for the future action. Therefore, national programme on prevention and control of NCDs was developed has been in use to move from old disease specific approaches towards cost effective and integrated NCD risk factors prevention and control programme in to challenge reduction of several risk factors.
