“Mongol Med” online medical literature database becomes available for all users
On 29 November, 2012 – Ulaanbaatar – Thanks to close cooperation of MOH, WHO, Mongolian Academy of Health Science and Scientific Academy, “Mongol Med” online health literature database becomes available for all users including scientists, research workers, health science students, as well general public.
In his opening remark for website launch, WHO Country Representative Dr Soe Nuynt-U stressed the importance of having publically accessible web-based national health research registers backed by appropriate policy and regulatory measures to ensure registration of research. National Health research registry is an important tool that offers huge potential to improve the health research governance and management by allowing real time tracking of health reports on multiple fronts. This tool is also likely to have substantial catalytic effects on transparency, financial allocation, priority setting, networking, capacity building in health research.
