WR Mongolia received the Outstanding Health Worker Award from Mongolian Minsitry of Health

WR Mongolia Dr Wiwat Rojanapithayakorn, received the Outstanding Health Worker Award from Minister of Health Dr Udval for his outstanding leadership and contribution to development of Mongolian health sector, more specifically strengthening of communicable diseases’ prevention, control and surveillance system. The Vice Minister J. Amarsanaa, the State Secretary Khatanbaatar, UNFPA Representative Mrs Argentina Matavel, the Head National HIV/AIDS committee and many other officers from MOH, International organizations and health institutions attended the award ceremony and showed their gratitude and honor to Dr. Wiwat.
Dr Wiwat worked with WHO Mongolia in the capacity of Medical Officer for Communicable diseases surveillance and response from (2002-2004) prior to his appointment as WR in 2006. He will retire from active service on 31 October 2012 and settle in his home country Thailand..
