Overview
WHO Regional Director for the Western Pacific Dr Shin Young-soo visited Solomon Islands from 28 to 31 August 2012 on the occasion of the ceremony marking the official upgrade of the Organization's country presence to full status as a WHO Representative office. While there, he took the opportunity to accompany Minister of Health and Medical Services Charles Sigoto to Western Province to see first-hand how health services are delivered to rural communities in Solomon Islands. The video captures some of the highlights of the office opening and subsequent provincial visit.
