Preventing cervical cancer in Lao People's Democratic Republic

Thousands of Lao girls will roll up their sleeves and get fully vaccinated with HPV vaccine in the months ahead. These girls will grow up knowing they were part of the first Lao generation to be protected against most cervical cancers.

With country commitment, partner support and GAVI Alliance funding, 30 million girls in the world’s poorest countries may have the same protection this decade.
