How to apply
Applications must be made on the WHO Fellowship Application (form WHO 52.1.2E RO/FEL). These are provided either by the office of national health administrations or through the WHO representatives and WHO Liaison Offices.
National health administrations submit the applications to a national selection committee established by the national health administration, which will interview applicants and select suitable candidates. The committee is composed of representatives of the national health administration, the national body concerned with the education of medical and health personnel, the appropriate professional group, if applicable (e.g. a representative of the nursing profession if nurses are applicants), and, to serve in an advisory capacity without vote, a representative of WHO.
The fellowship application forms of selected candidates are forwarded to the Fellowships Services Unit, WHO Regional Office in Manila, for processing.
