Key Populations
The WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific is committed to strengthening the information systems and prevention interventions aimed at reducing HIV transmission, particularly among and between most-at-risk populations (MARPs), thus bringing the epidemics under control.
WHO recommends that all countries and areas should continue to prioritize prevention efforts targeting MARPs, particularly men who have sex with men (MSM), transgender people, sex workers, people who inject drugs, as well as their partners.
