Follow-Up Workshop on Maximizing Synergies between the Global Health Initiatives and Health Systems

At the end of the workshop:
(1) the participants will have shared the lessons learned from the specific country analyses of bottlenecks and how they are translated in design and implementation of synergistic interventions;
(2) the country teams will have analyzed the specific health systems bottlenecks to scaling up or implementing tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, MCH and EPI programmes in their setting using a building block framework by reviewing current proposals and reports; and
(3) the country teams will have prepared concrete action plans of potentially synergistic health systems interventions that could address bottlenecks, improved efficiency or enhanced sustainability of disease control interventions across programmes to be used for funding applications and/or implementation of integrated HSS interventions
(4) the country teams will be knowledgeable and be prepared for the new GHI grant architecture including the joint funding platform, harmonization and alignment, and support for national health policies and strategies.
