Hanoi, 06 May 2013 – In response to the emergence of a new strain of avian influenza A(H7N9) in China, Viet Nam’s Government has called on international partners to help mobilize resources to ensure early detection, prevention and control of the H7N9 virus in order to limit transmission and minimize the disease impact in both human and poultry populations in Viet Nam.
