Multicentric Study on Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Linkages to Health - Methodology and Training
Summary
An Agreement for Performance of Work (APW) was contracted with SEAMEO TROPMED Network to develop methodology for analyzing water supply, sanitation, hygiene and health linkages at national level and train national working groups of Lao People's Democratic Republic, Mongolia, the Philippines and Thailand to apply the methodology in national studies. The terms of reference are: 1) to prepare the methodology for analysing water supply, sanitation, hygiene and health linkages in accord with the recommendations of the Expert Meeting on Water Supply, Sanitation, Hygiene and Health Linkages; and a manual or similar material for training users in the application of the methodology; 2) to plan, organize and conduct a four-day training course for four national study teams with the objective of instructing the teams to apply the methodology in national studies. Each national study team will be composed of at least four members, except Mongolia's team which will comprise only two members.
