United Nations Development Assistance Framework

The United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) is the strategic programme framework that describes the collective, coherent response of the UN system to national development priorities. It shows where the UN can contribute most effectively to a country’s development and addresses national capacity gaps in achieving global goals, such as the Millennium Development Goals.

As one member of UN Country Team, WHO participates in the UNDAF process and is responsible for the health component of UNDAF.
