The population of Guam was projected to be 166 090 in 2004, and it is estimated that there are 105 males for every 100 females.  Population density is 307 per square kilometre.  In 2003, preliminary estimation showed that life expectancy for both sexes was 77.80 years.  Men were expected to live up to 74.82 years and women up to 81.03 years.
