Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) Photographs
Summary
This photograph booklet was developed to help healthworkers implement the Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI), to aid recognition of the signs of common illness in children under five years old. Users of the booklet will be trainers and trainees of IMCI at health facilities (in-service training, which targets first level health workers) and health-related teaching institutions (pre-service education, which targets health sciences students).This is an adaptation of the generic booklet and includes signs of dengue hemorrhagic fever which has been included in the IMCI algorithm of some countries in the Western Pacific Region.
