Analyses and resources

APO works with its Research Hubs to produce its analyses.

Policy briefs synthesize evidence and experience from different contexts in relation to particular policy challenges in a concise (max. 25 pages) report backed up, if necessary, by a research paper. The Observatory’s Research Hubs, Steering Committee member institutions and Secretariat, as well as other partners and stakeholders including policy-makers themselves can propose topics for policy briefs.

The Observatory also produces other studies and analyses such as country comparative analyses on specific topics. As part of its role as a knowledge broker, the Observatory also provides access to carefully chosen information sources providing the most relevant and up-to-date information, opinion and ideas on health systems and policies.
